Syncing Files to a Remote PC

Stealth Systems provide free fair usage file storage for customers hosted on a secure SFTP file service.

This is considered your secondary, mirror only storage. All Stealth provided storage should be considered backup ( i.e you have a primary obligation to identify and maintain one PC/Hard Drive considered to act as a server). Over the course of operations a background sync services works to sync files onto this server.

When remote users attempt to use files they will sync on demand individually from our SFTP server should they be resident there ( i.e they have synced form the source PC onto our SYNC server).

Should you wish to undertake a full or partial sync to or from our sync server complete the following.

Load our Sync Utility then choose the files you wish to sync and sync them.

1 Click on Menu - Settings - Folder Sync

2 Select the item you wish to sync

3 Click on Get Data to list the sync objects , allowing you to select only those you are interested in.

4. If you are syncing Custom Reports Click on Override the Custom Report

5. Click on Sync Now (then close upon completed)

When syncing CustomReports the override options ensures all subreports ( if any) are also synced

This sync operation will force any local changes you have completed onto our sync server and will additionally pull down any new files synced from other Remote PCs and Servers in your Tracker Pro Network.
