A: To Enable Sage Remote Data Access for the first time complete the following steps.
Step 1 -Select Menu : Settings - User Management - Users menu
Step 3 - Select Administrator then select Continue
Step 4 - Enter username and password then select Continue
- User Name : addsage
- Password : **Password of your choosing**
Step 5 - Click Get Started Now With Sage ID
Step 7 - Enter your first and second name of the registered Sage account then press Yes I am the right person
Step 8 - Verify/change your company details then press Continue
Step 9 - Enter the registered email address for your Sage Account
This should be the master email address that Sage have on record for your company
Step 10 - Enter the password that you have registered on your Sage Account
Step 11 - Click on the Close button when the successful connection is verified
Step 12 - Click on Remote Data Access, entering the following details and click Continue
- Tick the Allow Remote Data Access
- First Name : addsage
- Second Name : admin
- Email Address : register@addsage.com
Step 13 - Enter a passphrase to secure all future remote connections to your Sage Database
Step 14 - Click on the Save button to save the new user then await sync completion
B To add Sage Data Access for a new user complete the following steps.
This example covers where Remote Data Access has already been enabled
Step 1 -Select Menu : Settings - User Management - Users menu
Step 3 - Select Administrator then select Continue
Step 4 - Enter username and password then select Continue
- User Name : addsage
- Password : **Password of your choosing**
Step 5 - Click on Remote Data Access, entering the following details and click Continue
- Tick the Allow Remote Data Access
- First Name : addsage
- Second Name : admin
- Email Address : register@addsage.com
Step 6 - Click on the Save button to save the new user
