Backing Up Tracker Pro

Only locally held files , excluding database held entries require to be backed up.

All database entries are automatically backed up 24 X 7  for 7 days with an any point in time restore capability within that 7 day period plus a weekly disaster backup with six month retention are taken by Stealth Systems.

Locally held files that the user should backup are backed in one of the two following methods:
By immediate backup triggered from the menu or by an automatic backup schedule  setup from the main menu..


1. Immediate Backup
  1.   Select Main Menu File -  Backup

  1. Select/de-select the file types to be backed up, check and edit the destination, then click  on OK



2. Backup Schedule
 
  1. Select Main Menu File -  Backup Schedule

  1. Enter a backup name and filename,
  2. Select/de-select the file types to be backed up,
  3. Select a schedule , times, days for the backup to be run.


  1. Ensure the Tracker Pro service is switched on by checking the status bar indicator

  1. Switch on the Tracker Pro service if currently switched off - Main Menu - Settings  - Start TP Service
