Automatic Nightly Subscription Billing

You can automatically invoice your customers each night for all/any invoices due up to that day.
To switch that facility on access it in Admin - Company Invoice - Invoice Details - Nightly Billing Section

Switch on Automatic Nightly Billing (1) to enable this facility or off to disable this facility (globally).

When you switch Nightly Billing on, by default the Automatic Nightly Billing Email will also be switched on which indicates an email will also be triggerred to send a copy of the invoice to the customer and also to the To, CC and BCC addresss settings you add to this screen.
  1. You can Change the Invoice Days InAdvance number to display an invoice Date in advance of the run date.
  2. You should pick your Invoice Template you wish to run and send during the nightly billing process. This will be the report used for all nightly billing emails.
  3. You should pick your From user email address from your registered list of integrated email addresses.
  4. Define the To, CC and BCC email addresses to send the emails to in addition to the customer address.
  5. Define a Subject and covering email message using text and merge fields (from the merge field drop down). This message will accompany the invoice in the nightly billing email.
Notes
NB The run date will always be as per the subscription Schedule - only the invoice display date is affected by the Days InAdvance setting.

You can choose on a contract by contract basis to either invoice on Subscription or Invoice on Service - only those contracts marked as Invoice According to Subscription with Automatic Nightly Billing ticked will be picked up for the Nightly Billing.
