Merging Customers

Merging Customers

If you wish to merge customers you can use the following method:

A Set the Target (Correct Customers) that you wish to merge to
  1. Select Main Menu - Modules - Customers
  2. Right Mouse click, select your customers and select Reallocate Customer - ON
Select the end target customer accounts you want to merge into ( consider these the correct accounts)
You can Clear down this list at any time by selecting Clear All



B Select the customers whose records you mish to merge into the list identified at A.

  1. Select Main Menu - Modules - Customers - Data Submenu
  2. Click Reallocate Acc Ref Icon
  3. Select the target ACCREF that you wish to Merge into 
  4. Press OK
INFO NOTE - Note the records currently owned by the source customer that will be set to zero upon moving those records to the end state target customer record (NewACC upon pressing OK.)
Once you have re- allocated the record, the Source (left hand side) Account reference record may be deleted as it will now be empty.
