Calculating Audit Statistics

Calculating Audit Statistics

Statistics in the UKAS preferred and standard 12 month array are calculated with a few easy steps in Tracker Pro.

A: Clear down all calculations ( this resets and removes  all rolling calculations)
B: Calculate Statistics ( this calculates all rolling calculations) . It is recommended that these are run for the the last two full years to ensure the cum rolling calculations are always correct and fully calculated for the last full calendar year. You should calculate from 01/01/XXXX to ensure the full 12 month array is calculated. So as an example for any month in 2020, you should start the calculations from 01/01/2018 ( a full two calendard years prior).
C: Print out your statistics - your auditor will guide you as to the years they wish to review but expect that to include the last full 12 month period starting 01/01/XXXX and the part year for the current year. You would then create a report for each year in turn ( 2 x 12 month arrays, one of those would be partial for the current / part year)
D: Complete this prep work at least four weeks before an inspection to allow enough time to investigate and remedy or understand non compliant entries then rerun A,B & C again immediately before your inspection in order to refresh the statistics to reflect any changes/remedial action.

This process  takes a number of minutes - please complete this at a convenient time.

Select the year you wish to report on by selecting a month and year ( from those months that you have calculated)

Select the two reports that are of interest for auuditors - repeat steps 6 and 7 for both the last full year and the current partial year.
