Adjusting the Next Service Date

Adjusting the Next Service Date

There may be times you wish to adjust the next service date.
The next service date is calculated by Tracker Pro based upon the contract details at regular intervals across the contract period.
An example when you may wish to do that could  be if you were late by a month for a service and you wished to move the subsequent service dates all forward by 1 month (or 30 days). The Service row is linked to the contract based upon the Date Due field for that record. It is linked to the contract where Date Due falls between the Start Date and End Date. All subsequent services for this contract are adjusted by the cumulative service days adjustment which can be seen at the bottom right corner of the form. To adjust all future service dates for this contract complete the following.

STEPS

  1. Edit the Activity row and the last service record after which you wish to adjust all services
    1. See items 1 to 3 in the picture below to find the Installation Activity
  2. Enter the adjustment in days for all future services in this contract- positive or negative and press save.
  3. Check and ensure the next service date changes as expected .
