Adding a New Job or Quote from the Native Apps

To add New Jobs , Calls, Quotes or Other items to the Diary from the Android or Iphone Native Apps can be achieved by following these instructions. 

In order to do so , simply load the Cloud Platform from those apps and enter the appropriate detail.
The screens are optimized for mobile phone use.
The following guide shows you that process.


1. To access the Engineer Cloud Platform from the Native App click on the Globe Icon in step 1 which will transfer you through to the Engineer Cloud Platform




2. Click on the word NEW to register a NEW Job and new Appointment



3. Select Type Of Appointment as Job in the drop down selector
4. Click on The Magnifying glass to search installations


5. Enter search text ( customer name, address, postcode, installation address etc )
6. Click Search button to search for all matching records
7. Click on the Tick next to the desired installation details



8.  Select the appropriate Job type from the drop down box (such as Fault)



9. Scroll down and enter an appropriate Job Description and any specific Appointment Notes


10. Scroll up then click on the Timeline button to view the Diary/Scheduler


11.  Scroll to and select an available slot in the diary by clicking on it.



12. Click on Save to confirm your selection at the diary popup Window.




13. Press Save button to generate a new Job and an Engineer Appointment for that Job.
Before Saving - Scroll up and Down,  review all inputs and ensure the Job Details are complete
You should check the correct Test Result Set(s) is/are selected
You can decide if you wish to send appointment confirmation by email to the Customer and/or  a Notification to the Engineer App using the buttons at the page foot.
If you are logging a FAULT job and the time is outwith the compliant response period  (4 hrs Intruder and 7 hrs Fire), however that is according to a customer request then you should indicate that with the Requested By Customer Toggle & Reason to ensure the Response Time is marked as compliant in your UKAS Stats.





14.  Note the green notification telling you the Job Number and Appointment Numbers created.
Any newly created appointment will appear in the list of appointments due below
